Bainbridge Island neighborhoods

The Northend

The northern part of Bainbridge Island offers a variety of lifestyles and its own excellent elementary school.

  • Serene Manzanita is all about waterfront with Olympic Mountain views and fabulous late summer sunsets

  • Meadowmeer is a golf-focused community near a wonderful pre-school

  • Rolling Bay has a charming hub with delightful shops including a farm store, Via Rosa restaurant, and even a small, cozy U.S. Post Office of its very own

  • Port Madison boasts the Bloedel Reserve and Fay Bainbridge beach park overlooking the mainland (Cascade views!), sound, and shipping lanes

Other Northend neighborhoods

The Southend

The Southend is popular for many reasons. In addition to its warm southern exposure and low to no-bank waterfronts, the Southend enjoys proximity to a great elementary school, popular Lynwood Center shops, restaurants, and a vintage movie theater specializing in indie films.

  • Fort Ward offers a variety of homes with a larger planned community, an open field for play and summer games, dog walking, and bike riding.

  • If you’re looking for a waterview neighborhood, Bill Point is known for its layered views of water and trees, community pool, winding streets of mid-century homes that have enjoyed a resurgence of restoration, and the feel of community of a simpler time.

  • Crystal Springs homes have late-summer western exposure, views of Rich Passage, and a public dock with parking and a very laid-back island lifestyle

  • Waterfront homes on Rockaway Beach or Country Club Road have eastern exposure, stunning Seattle skyline views, often a higher price point.

Other Southend neighborhoods

The Center

Central Island neighborhoods offer proximity to middle and high schools, Winslow, and the Washington State Ferry. Modern and cozy condos across from the ferry, small cottages right out of a storybook, townhouses and single-family homes with views of the harbor—all are popular. Planned neighborhoods like North Town Woods offer sidewalks and cul-de-sacs perfect for walks, bike riding, and treat-or-treating. Even equestrian properties may be found in many areas of the island, especially the center.

  • Battle Point has a great park with playgrounds, sport fields, an observatory, and community gardens

  • Wing Point has lanes of elegant homes and a gorgeous golf  course at the water's edge

  • Winslow cottages, condos and townhomes put you in the middle of the charming historic downtown and its amenities

Other Central neighborhoods

  • Island Center & Fletcher Bay

  • Manitou Beach
