Relocating and purchasing a home is very different from moving. You can move across the street or a few miles away and maintain your friends, work and daily infrastructure of familiar everyday needs such as your favorite grocery store, doctor, schools, the weather stays the same, your lifestyle remains intact and other than moving to a new home remains constant. When relocating, you’re uprooting completely and leaving the familiar to reestablished yourself in a new community. If your relocating for work it can be very exciting and at the same time daunting, starting a new job and moving has its own level of stress, moving a family and interviewing schools is yet another layer. Finding all the services needed to maintain your life can take time. It’s safe to say relocating encompasses many changes and may affect more facets of your life as well as the lives of those making the relocation with you.

Bainbridge Island is a relatively small place, it’s located in the Pacific Northwest off the coast of Seattle between two mountains ranges. The Cascades and the Olympics this unique setting is home to extraordinary wildlife from the land to the sea and from my perspective has some of the most breathtaking vistas imaginable. There are approximately 26,000 residents and the island is approximately the size of Manhattan. Life on the island is simple in many ways, you might say less hurried. If you’re looking for night life it begins and ends a tad earlier than most places, it’s also less frenetic. If you love a good book, an early dinner out or kayaking at sunrise or sunset you’ve found the right place. We pride ourselves on community and we islanders get involved with our community efforts. With this small-town venue acclimating is easy, people are friendly and inclusive you cannot stay a stranger for long. Your privacy is also respected.
We have lovely waterfront neighborhoods, incredible parks, terrific schools, amazing natural beauty and a resilient, hearty community that jumps in and gets things done! This website is designed to help you learn about the island and to help you explore the homes available, learn more about the schools and in essence “get your feet wet” after all it is an island!
