Happy Halloween on Bootiful Bainbridge Island!
Halloween is time for gourd-geous fun! The residents of Bainbridge Island love Halloween. Check out some of the fun things to do! Oh, by the way, that witch was outside of our office two years ago. I guess we’re lucky a huge pumpkin arrived at just the right time! The BIG PUMPKIN will arrive again this year! Be sure to drive by often to watch for her landing!
Halloween at Islandwood
Pick your favorite pumpkin from the Sweet Pickins Pumpkin Patch before you grab a shovel and dig in to Dr. McDiggins Boneyard. Or walk the trails and listen to the Giants tell stories! There will be special presentations and treats as well. Put on your sweet or scary costume and join the fun on October 21, 2018 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
On Halloween eve, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, merchants will close their businesses early so our children can grab a free trick-or-treat bag, listen to music, and have all-around safe, spooky fun. It all happens on Winslow Way for the Halloween Walk on October 31!
Speaking of treats, have you tried the warm, yummy pumpkin lattes at Coquette yet? Delish!
Join Bainbridge Island’s ghostly families as we join the Bainbridge Gardens’ Annual Pumpkin Walk. The trails are lined with over 300 lighted carved pumpkins! After you’ve taken your walk, the kiddies can expend some extra energy in the fun bounce house, listen to live music, visit with the Great Pumpkin, play carnival games, and have snacks! On October 12 and 13, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, put on a costume and a coat if it’s chilly, and walk with us!
Do You Have Your Pumpkins?
For a huge selection of the best pumpkins, visit Town & Country Market. This local gem offers beautiful produce, fresh fish, colorful veggies, and much more. The bakery has scrumptious treats for the whole family. And if you didn’t notice, they have pumpkins!
By the way, while you’re out and about, check out the goodies at the Hey Day Farm Store in the Historical Lynwood Center.
