I look forward to helping you find the perfect home which meets your needs and accomplishes what you set out to do....find the place to call home!
As a home Buyer, there are many questions which may come up when beginning your search. Prioritizing your needs and staying focused on the features of a home which you feel are top on your list is key to keeping your home search productive. Compromising is a part of the process however never give up on your top priorities. Location may be key if you're commuting by ferry, a short route to the ferry during commute hours is helpful. If your search involves one or more of these elements, waterfront, water views, trees, lots of natural light, garden space, privacy or close to town, all these items can be factored into your search. I suggest making a list of your key requirements and working from there. I will help you with what's most important and we can begin your search with your highest priorities as our main focus.
I review ALL the listings as the come on the market. I attend Brokers Tours and can intelligently speak to the condition, quality, noise level, light level, commute times and generally do much of the heavy lifting before we begin the physical home tour. Experience has taught me there's much more to buying a home than the paperwork. I'm knowledgeable enough about the process to combine the needs and wants of my clients in addition to the practical and financial components. Investing in a home is one of the largest financial decision one makes and shouldn't be taken lightly. You can trust me, if I don't know the answer, I will find it out. This is a partnership and the most successful deals are completed with the efforts of a team!
I believe you’ll find living on Bainbridge Island simply wonderful, I have loved it! Bainbridge Island lives like a small town and yet has the unique proximity to an urban city. Seattle is just a 35-minute ferry ride away. We have wonderful walking trails, large open spaces, golf courses, the Bloedel Reserve, Parks, Playgrounds, The Grand Forest. You can become immersed in the community and the Arts, BIMA which stands for the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, The BPA which is the Bainbridge Performing Arts, or you can walk the beach in complete solitude there's something for everyone.
You'll have two opportunities to search for your home. Searching on the MLS/Online and my "unplugged" version of each home.
I always tour the available homes on Bainbridge Island on Thursday morning during Broker’s Tour. I'll provide you information about the homes condition and unique qualities. I will edit the homes down to the most important features I believe will meet your needs and it may be that I will see things which you haven’t thought about.
While searching the internet sites you'll get a good idea of what is available on Bainbridge Island however they’re limited and may not give you the full picture. Sometimes listings are positioned through the listing Broker's eyes. It can be difficult to see all the details from photos of a room. The descriptions from my photos or a walk-through video may show details with more exact descriptions than the High Definition photos used to "sell" the home on the internet. Craftsmanship isn't always apparent, views, paint quality, types of wood, the "real" views from the room and not the rooftop are all important. "I will be your feet on the ground"
Bainbridge Island has a multitude of homes from which to choose some are in planned neighborhoods, there are homes which are waterfront beach cottages as well as large waterfront estates, North Town Woods has craftsman/bungalow style homes, there are lovely horse properties on acreage, condominiums w/waterfront and water views and small charming neighborhoods. We can plan your trip to visit many of the areas on the island to get a feel for the different locations and then work on the type of homes which fit your needs within those areas. You will not know or understand all there is to enjoy about the island without a full tour. Many times I'll find something that you may not have considered. Making the most of your visit while your here and acquainting you with the entire Island will certainly make the best use of your time and help you in making an informed decision.
